My name is Nana Kojo Darko. I started Reignaura because I saw a gap, not just in the market, but in standard. Ghana's tourism was growing. People were coming home for business, leisure or both. But the experiences being offered weren't keeping pace with what was actually here.
Visitors were being handed itineraries built on imported ideas of what a "travel experience" should look like. And the local businesses — the ones with the real stories, the real culture, the real product — weren't part of the conversation. I wanted to change that. Not with a policy document. Not by listing a partner on a platform and walking away. But by staying in the experience, managing it, and making sure that what a guest receives and what a partner delivers are both exactly what they should be. Reignaura is built on that idea.
We sit between two worlds, the accessible, book-it-yourself travel market and the fully managed, white-glove concierge service. We bring premier clients to local partners. We bring local partners up to a standard that premier clients expect. And we hold both sides of that relationship with the same level of care.
This is not a business that is trying to be for everyone. It is a business that is trying to be exactly right for the people it serves — whether you're booking a heritage tour of Accra for the first time, or asking us to design a private, end-to-end experience for an individual, corporate or group that expects nothing less than perfect.
